A bio is the shortest text on a profile and the one people read first. The limits differ on every platform, so the same line has to be cut a different way for each. The tool does the cutting and shows its count.
- 1Write the lineType the business name and one line on what it does. Add the place and what you want people to do next if you have them: they are joined to the line when there is room.
- 2Pick a platformSearch for a platform, or choose all of them. Each text shows how many of its characters it uses, so you can see how close it is to the limit.
- 3Copy and pastePress Copy beside a text and paste it into the platform's profile form. If part of your line was left out to fit, the tool says which part.

This tool does not invent a sentence. A bio is your line, your place and your call to action, joined with a dot in the order the platform reads best. When the limit is short, whole parts are dropped from the end, the call to action first, and never a word cut out of the middle. The tool names what it dropped.
The limits are the ones the FABLS app itself checks against, as the platforms published them in October 2026. If a platform has changed a number since, the platform is right: check its help before you paste.

Is the bio writer free?
Yes. It needs no account and has no limit on how often you use it, because it runs in your browser.
Does the bio writer use AI?
No. It joins your own words and cuts them to each platform's limit. The AI version is in FABLS: Set up a profile can write each text on your own key, inside the same limits.
Does it send what I type anywhere?
No. Everything is worked out in your browser, and nothing is sent or stored.
How long can a bio be?
It depends on the platform, and the limits differ a lot: a TikTok bio is far shorter than a LinkedIn About. The tool shows each limit beside its text, and the Profile and cover sizes page lists them all.
Why was part of my line left out?
Because the platform's limit is shorter than the whole text. The tool drops whole parts from the end, the call to action first, and says which, so you can decide to shorten your line instead.
