An Instagram accountlinked to its Page.

Seven steps to a professional account, linked to the business's Facebook Page: the way FABLS, and every other scheduling tool, reaches Instagram.

Before you start

Three things,
ready first.

  • A business e-mail addressSign up with the business's own address, not a personal one.
  • A Facebook Page you manageThe professional account is linked to it. If you have none yet, start with the Facebook Page guide.
  • A username, a bio and a pictureA username that matches your other channels, a bio of up to 150 characters and a square logo.

The steps

Step by step,
in this order.

The account comes first, the link to the Page comes in the middle, and nothing needs to be rushed: you can finish the last two steps when you have stories and posts to show.

With FABLS

Then connect it,
through the Page.

In FABLS, connect Facebook on Channels: the linked Instagram account comes with the Page. FABLS then publishes a picture, a carousel of two to ten, a reel or a story at the slot's time once a person has approved it, and brings the comments back to the inbox.

The setup guide in the app follows these steps. Once the account is connected, its Check the live profile button reads what Instagram shows and ticks the steps it proves; nothing on Instagram is changed.

Plain about it: FABLS publishes to professional accounts only, and reaches Instagram through the Facebook Page it is linked to. A personal account cannot be connected.

Questions

Quick answers.

Business or Creator?

For a company, choose Business. FABLS publishes to professional accounts, and the link to a Facebook Page is what it uses to reach the account.

Why does Instagram have to be linked to a Facebook Page?

FABLS reaches Instagram through the Facebook Page it belongs to, so the two have to be linked from the Facebook side before the account can be connected.

How long can the bio be?

Up to 150 characters, and the name up to 30. The sizes page has the rest of the limits.
